Yul Wonci Lui, born July 3, 1930, was an American actress and dancer of Chinese ancestry whose career encompassed both Broadway and other theatrical productions.
Lui's stage work included a role in Kismet, where she performed as an Arabian dancer in the number "Not Since Ninevah." She also appeared in various productions of The King and I.
Her Broadway career brought her to the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Flower Drum Song, which she joined in 1958. She remained with the production through 1960, making it her most sustained Broadway engagement on record.
Lui died on June 16, 2023, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 92.
