A Note from Harry, the Founder
Last year, a friend invited me to a karaoke night his company was hosting. I planned to stop by for a minute, but once the singing started, it was the most electric karaoke I'd ever seen. Pop, Broadway, Disney, oldies—every song was a hit, too good to walk away from.
Why? Because a few Broadway Stars were singing with us. I was hooked.
I still remember the finale: forty of us packed into a room to hear Laurel Harris, Elphaba from Wicked, sing "Defying Gravity." Everyone was smiling and cheering. That's when it hit me—more people deserve to experience this, and I could help make it happen.
That's how Sing with the Stars was born.
