Will Hochman

Will Hochman is an American actor working in stage, television, and film, originally from Brooklyn, New York. He attended Colby College, where he earned a degree in Economics. His introduction to acting came at age 20 through Colby's Department of Performance, Theater, and Dance, and he performed with the Powder and Wig, the college's student-run theatre club. Among his student roles was John Proctor in a production of The Crucible.

Hochman's first professional stage work was a stage adaptation of Dead Poets Society for Classic Stage Company in New York. His Broadway career spans 2017 to 2019 and includes appearances in The Little Foxes and The Sound Inside. The latter, a play by Adam Rapp directed by David Cromer, ran at Studio 54 from October 2019 through January 2020 for a total of 100 performances. Hochman played Christopher, a Yale student, opposite Mary-Louise Parker, who portrayed a professor named Bella. The production received six Tony Award nominations, including Best Play.

On television, Hochman made an early appearance in the CBS series The Code before joining the long-running CBS drama Blue Bloods in 2020, playing Joe Hill across five seasons. He also took on a recurring role in Before, an Apple TV+ series starring Billy Crystal and Judith Light. In March 2025, he was cast as Torpedo in Vought Rising, a prequel spin-off of the superhero comedy series The Boys.

His film work includes Critical Thinking, the directorial debut of John Leguizamo, and Let Him Go, starring Kevin Costner. He also appeared in the 2022 film The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Hochman is set to star alongside Deborah Ann Woll and Jeffrey Donovan in The Cycle. He lives in New York.
