Wendy Gazelle

Wendy Gazelle is an American actress whose career spanned from 1985 to 2009, encompassing work in film, television, video games, and Broadway. She made her Broadway appearance in 1983 in Brighton Beach Memoirs.

Gazelle entered film with a minor part in the 1985 action feature Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. She went on to appear in a number of films throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, including Hot Pursuit, Sammy and Rosie Get Laid, The In Crowd, and The Understudy: Graveyard Shift II in 1987 and 1988, followed by Triumph of the Spirit in 1989. The early 1990s brought roles in Queens Logic and Crooked Hearts, and she appeared in Benders in 1994. Among her more widely seen film appearances was a small part in the 1995 thriller The Net. She also appeared in Dead Men Can't Dance in 1997.

Gazelle's television work was extensive. Her serial credits include appearances on The Cosby Show and Crime Story in 1987, Brooklyn Bridge in 1992, and The Single Guy in 1995. She continued working steadily in television through the late 1990s and 2000s, with roles on shows including The X-Files, CSI: Las Vegas, House, Boston Legal, Private Practice, and Eastwick. Her television movie credits include Victim of Love: The Shannon Mohr Story in 1993 and Tell Me No Secrets in 1997. In 1993 she also provided work for the video game Double Switch.

On March 17, 2001, Gazelle married actor John Ales.
