Wanda Perry, born Helen Marie Beuscher on July 23, 1917, in Brooklyn, New York City, was an American actress whose career spanned Broadway and film from the late 1920s through the 1970s. She attended Manual Training High School in Brooklyn before pursuing a career in performance.
Perry's Broadway work took place between 1928 and 1932, during which she appeared in the plays Girls in Uniform and We Never Learn. Her film career began when she was sixteen years old, making her feature debut as an Earl Carroll showgirl in Murder at the Vanities (1934). Following that appearance, she was signed to a contract with MGM.
Her screen work encompassed a wide range of productions across several decades. Among her feature film credits are Let's Talk It Over (1934), Romance in the Rain (1934), Kid Millions (1934), Roberta (1935), Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935), George White's 1935 Scandals (1935), Born to Dance (1936), The Great Ziegfeld (1936), Rosalie (1937), Thin Ice (1937), Second Fiddle (1939), Crime Doctor's Man Hunt (1946), Follow the Sun (1951), Death of a Salesman (1951), and Mame (1974). She also appeared in a number of film shorts, including several produced with The Three Stooges, among them Booby Dupes (1945), Pardon My Clutch (1948), Mummy's Dummies (1948), Musty Musketeers (1954), and Wham-Bam-Slam! (1955).
In 1937, Perry married dentist Dr. Irving J. Browne. She died on February 17, 1985, in Hollywood.
