Walter P. Lewis was an American actor born on June 10, 1866, in Albany, New York, who built a career spanning both the stage and silent film. He died on January 30, 1932.

Lewis maintained an active Broadway presence from 1901 to 1920, appearing in a range of productions across those two decades. His stage credits included The Hole in the Wall, He Walked in Her Sleep, What's Your Husband Doing?, The Thirteenth Chair, and The Harvester, among others.

Alongside his theatrical work, Lewis pursued a prolific career in silent film, accumulating appearances in 55 productions between 1912 and 1931. This body of screen work ran concurrently with and ultimately outlasted his Broadway career, extending nearly to the end of his life.
