Walter Vincent McGinn Jr. (July 6, 1936 – March 31, 1977) was an American actor born in Providence, Rhode Island, who built a career across stage, film, and television. He earned a B.A. from the Boston University College of Fine Arts and went on to work in New York theater before transitioning to screen work. He was married to Robyn Goodman on May 2, 1976.

McGinn's stage career began Off-Broadway with a 1963 production of The Winter's Tale at the Delacorte Theater. His Broadway debut followed in 1964 with The Subject Was Roses at the Helen Hayes Theater. Over the next decade he accumulated a range of Broadway credits, including Here's Where I Belong, Canterbury Tales, The Iceman Cometh, and That Championship Season. His stage work earned him a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Performance in 1972.

His film work included roles in The Parallax View (1974), Three Days of the Condor (1975), and Bobby Deerfield (1977). On television, he portrayed Louis Howe in Eleanor and Franklin: The White House Years (1977), a performance for which he received a posthumous Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

McGinn died on March 31, 1977, in a Los Angeles hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 40 years old.
