About
Wally Peterson (October 11, 1917 – March 30, 2011) was an American actor, singer, songwriter, and stage manager born in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the course of a career that spanned several decades, Peterson established himself as a presence on both Broadway and the West End.
Peterson's Broadway career extended from 1962 to 1978 and included appearances in The Kingfisher, the play Dinner at Eight, and A Passage to India. In addition to his work as a performer, he also took on producing responsibilities on Broadway. His stage work extended across the Atlantic, where he appeared in London productions of Oklahoma! and South Pacific.
