Vivian Prescott was an American actress of Italian birth, born in Genoa, Italy, who built a career spanning both the stage and silent film.

Prescott's Broadway career took place between 1904 and 1905, during which she appeared in two musicals. Her stage credits included His Honor the Mayor of the Bowery and The Isle of Spice. This period of work on the American stage preceded her transition into motion pictures.

Beginning in 1909, Prescott moved into silent film and went on to appear in 202 films through 1917. Her screen credits include Winning Back His Love (1910), A Flash of Light (1910), the short Comrades (1911), Fisher Folks (1911), and the short The Primal Call (1911), in which she played the Millionaire's Girlfriend. She also appeared in The Man from the West (1912) as Mary the cook, The Sands of Dee (1912), and Man's Enemy (1914).
