Born Vittorio Giorgio Andre Spinetti on September 2, 1929, in Wales, Victor Spinetti was the son of Giuseppe and Lily Spinetti. He trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he met Graham Curnow, his lifelong partner. His West End debut came in 1958 with "Expresso Bongo," and the Beatles personally invited him to appear in their first three films. Among his film credits: "The Wild Affair," "A Hard Day's Night," "Help!," "Magical Mystery Tour," "The Little Prince," "The Krays," "The Return of the Pink Panther," "The Taming of the Shrew," "Under the Cherry Moon," and "Start the Revolution Without Me." Television work included "New Tricks," "The Saint," "Bottom," "Emu's All Live Pink Windmill Show," "Breakfast," and "BBC Play of the Month."
