About

Antonio "Toni" Ucci was an Italian actor and comedian born in Rome on 13 January 1922. He died on 16 or 19 February 2014.

Ucci began his career in revue before finding early success in cabaret. He went on to work extensively in theater across comedic genres, including musical comedy. His film career spanned more than five decades, with appearances in 86 productions between 1948 and 2000. Beginning in 1959, he also built a substantial body of work in television films and series.

In 1964, Ucci brought his stage experience to Broadway as a cast member of Rugantino, marking his appearance in the American theatrical capital.
