Tom Mardirosian is an American actor born on December 14, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, where he was raised by his Armenian parents, Afro (née Karahos) and Matthew Mardirosian. His brother is actor and writer Oliver Clark.

Mardirosian's introduction to acting came during his time in the army, where he served as a member of a Special Forces troop. Following his military service, he returned to Buffalo and performed in numerous productions there, also receiving formal training at The Studio ARENA Theatre School.

His Broadway career spanned nearly three decades, from 1974 to 2003, encompassing productions including The Magic Show, Happy End, Cuba & His Teddy Bear, My Favorite Year, and Wonderful Town. His appearance in The Magic Show took place at the Cort Theatre, where he played the role of Goldfarb.

Beyond the stage, Mardirosian is recognized for his television work on two HBO series. He portrayed Agamemnon Busmalis in Oz and Agt. Kristos Koutris in The Wire. Outside of his performing career, he maintains an active involvement with the Armenian General Benevolent Union in New York City.
