Born April 16, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, Tom Brennan studied at Oberlin College and played a key role in the formation of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. His regional work spanned The McCarter Theater, Yale Repertory Theater, The Fords Theatre, and Trinity Playhouse. He taught theatre at Rutgers University, Circle in the Square Theatre School, William Paterson University, and Berkley College. He married Marylou Romano; their children are Nicholas, StellaLucia, Dr. Ben Brennan, and Dallas Brennan.
