Tinashe Kajese

Tinashe Kajese-Bolden is a Zimbabwean-American actress, director, and producer. Born Tinashe Kajese in Durham, England, to a Zimbabwean father and a German-American mother, she spent part of her childhood in Zimbabwe after her family relocated there in 1980 following the country's independence from the United Kingdom. In 1998 she moved to the United States to study theatre at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she met actor and director Keith Arthur Bolden, whom she married in 2007. The couple have three children together, including a stepson, and reside in Atlanta.

Kajese-Bolden made her Broadway debut in 2007 in the play Coram Boy. Her early screen work included guest appearances on Cold Case, Enlightened, and Powers, as well as a role in the HBO film The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, in which she played the younger version of the character portrayed by Leslie Uggams. She subsequently appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Hawkeye as Dee and in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special as Officer Fitzgibbon.

Broader recognition came in 2021 when Kajese-Bolden appeared as A.R.G.U.S. aide Flo Crawley in James Gunn's DC Extended Universe film The Suicide Squad. She reprised the role in an uncredited cameo in Gunn's spinoff television series Peacemaker and returned to the character again in the 2025 DC Universe film Superman, in which Flo Crawley appears as a U.S. Secretary.

Beyond her performance work, Kajese-Bolden has built a significant career as a theatre director. In 2019 the Princess Grace Foundation recognized her emerging directorial work with a Princess Grace Award. Since 2023 she has served as co-artistic director of the Alliance Theatre.
