Tim Treloar is a Welsh actor born in Bridgend, Wales, who trained at LAMDA. He has built a career across stage, screen, and audio productions, with credits spanning Broadway, film, television, and voice work.

Treloar made his first screen appearance in the film Bomber in 2000. He subsequently appeared in Wondrous Oblivion and the television series Mine All Mine and Bombshell, in which he played Sergeant Major Tysoe. Additional television work during this period included two episodes of The Bill, recurring roles in both Casualty and Midsomer Murders, and a single episode of A Touch of Frost. In 2010, he took on the lead role of DS Simon Vedder in Silent Witness and also played a Norwegian terrorist in Mammon.

On Broadway, Treloar appeared in 2008 in a production of Macbeth. His stage work has also included the theatrical adaptation of Birdsong, in which he played Jack Firebrace, a role he reprised in the film version released in 2020.

In 2015, Treloar began voicing the Third Doctor for Big Finish Productions' audio series of Doctor Who, taking on a role originally performed by Jon Pertwee. He has appeared in eight volumes of those audio adventures alongside cast members including Katy Manning and Richard Franklin. His work with Big Finish has extended to voice roles in their productions of Blake's 7, The Avengers, and Survivors.

Among his film credits are Maleficent, 100 Streets opposite Idris Elba, Dolittle, and The Haunting of Alice Bowles, the latter released in 2020 alongside Tamzin Outhwaite. His television work has continued with appearances in Crossing Lines, Dark Heart, Father Brown, Call the Midwife, and Doctors. Treloar also wrote and starred in an internet comedy series called Peter Peter's Positivity Programme, playing a geography teacher. In March 2021, he appeared in the first episode of the ITV crime drama Grace, as well as an episode of Doctors in which he played Dave Conroy. On 29 January 2026, Treloar made his first appearance in Coronation Street as Mal Roper.
