Teller is an American magician born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is one half of the comedy magic duo Penn & Teller, alongside Penn Jillette, and is known for maintaining silence during performances rather than speaking onstage. Teller is a H.L. Mencken Fellow.
His Broadway career spanned from 1987 to 2015, during which he appeared in several productions. He starred in Penn & Teller On Broadway, Penn & Teller: The Refrigerator Tour, and Penn & Teller. In addition to those starring vehicles, Teller appeared in The Rocky Horror Show.
