Suzie Toase

Suzie Toase, also known as Suzanne Toase, is a British actress born in 1979 and originally from Lancashire, England. She trained as a dancer at the London Studio Centre, a foundation that informed her work across stage and screen.

Toase is perhaps most widely recognized for her film work in the Harry Potter franchise, where she portrayed Alecto Carrow, a Death Eater, across three installments: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010), and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011).

Her stage career has included lead roles in productions such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Wizard of Oz. She appeared in One Man, Two Guvnors at the Adelphi Theatre in London, and in 2012 she brought that production to Broadway, marking her Broadway debut. A filmed version of the production was also released as National Theatre Live: One Man, Two Guvnors in 2011.

Toase has also worked in British television, appearing in Season 3, Episode 5 of The IT Crowd, titled "Friendface," in which she played Alison, a former girlfriend of the character Roy. She additionally appeared in an episode of Hotel Babylon.
