Suzanne Lloyd

Suzanne Lloyd is a Canadian-born actress whose career spanned stage, film, and television across several decades. Born in Toronto, Canada, in 1932 or 1933, she grew up in Pasadena, California, where she attended Humbercrest School, Bishop Strachan School, and Pasadena Junior College. Prior to pursuing acting, Lloyd worked in sales and as a model, and her image appeared on the cover of Pageant magazine.

Lloyd made her Broadway debut in 1943, appearing in the original production of Oklahoma! Her stage work extended to the Glendale Center Theatre, where her performances there led to screen tests for television work.

On television, Lloyd became a recognizable presence in American and British productions throughout the late 1950s and 1960s. She held a recurring role as Raquel Toledano in the classic series Zorro and accumulated guest appearances on a wide range of programs, including Gunsmoke, The Twilight Zone, Bonanza, Perry Mason, The Avengers, Thriller, Maverick, Have Gun – Will Travel, Bat Masterson, One Step Beyond, Bourbon Street Beat, The Islanders, Rescue 8, Buckskin, The Texan, Laramie, Lawman, Colt .45, Tales of Wells Fargo, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, Mike Hammer, The Tab Hunter Show, and six episodes of The Saint.

Lloyd retired from acting in 1974 but returned to the screen in 2017 for an episode of The Young and the Restless, in which she appeared alongside her daughter, actress Tracey E. Bregman.
