Susan Mosher

Susan Mosher, also known as Susie Mosher, is an American actress working across stage, television, and film. She began her stage career with the premiere production of Godspell, which ran for more than 100 performances. She subsequently built her résumé through regional theater before originating the role of Dee Dee in SUDS: The Rocking 60's Musical Soap Opera, which marked her New York City debut when it premiered Off-Broadway in 1988.

Mosher's connection to the musical Hairspray spans both Las Vegas and Broadway. She first took on the role of the Female Authority Figure in the Las Vegas run of the production, then joined the Broadway company in 2007, remaining with the show through its closing performance on January 4, 2009. Her Broadway appearance is documented in verified records as a 2002 credit for Hairspray. She also portrayed Pepper Cole in the stage production Cashino.

Beyond New York, Mosher appeared in the musical revue Back to Bacharach and David in Los Angeles, which ran from April 2009 through May 2009. In 2014, she was part of the stage production of Holiday Inn at the Goodspeed Opera House.

On television, Mosher held a recurring role on The L Word. In July 2018, she began hosting The Lineup with Susie Mosher at Birdland, a nightclub in New York City. The variety show features performers from Broadway alongside artists from the cabaret and comedy worlds. The series earned Mosher recognition at both the Bistro Awards and the MAC Awards. In 2022, she received a Bistro Award for Variety Show Hosting and Performance, as well as a MAC Award for the recurring series and for her work as emcee. She received an additional MAC Award in 2023 in the same categories.
