About
Susan Louise O'Connor is an American actress born on March 11, 1975, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She attended Buchholz High School before earning a degree from the University of Florida, after which she relocated to New York City to pursue her career.
O'Connor made her Broadway debut in the 2009 production of Blithe Spirit, a farce directed by Michael Blakemore. The cast included Rupert Everett, Angela Lansbury, Christine Ebersole, and Jayne Atkinson. Her performance earned her the Theatre World Award, the Dorothy Loudon Starbaby Award, and a nomination for the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play. Following the Broadway run, she moved to Los Angeles to participate in the production's National Tour. Her Broadway activity continued through 2014.
Beyond the stage, O'Connor appeared in the television series Wallflowers from 2013 to 2014 and The Cleaning Lady in 2025. Her stage work also includes a 2006 production of Wonder of the World.
