Stephen McLeod Mailer, born March 10, 1966, in New York City, is an American actor whose work spans stage, film, and television. He is the son of novelist Norman Mailer and stage actress Beverly Bentley.

Mailer's Broadway career extended from 1987 to 1993 and included appearances in Laughter on the 23rd Floor and the play Broadway Boy. His stage work was rooted in New York City, where he was raised.

Beyond the stage, Mailer has appeared in a number of films, among them Cry-Baby, Another Woman, Baby Mama. His television credits include Gilmore Girls, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and A League of Their Own.

Mailer was previously married to fashion designer and film director Visnja Rodic Clayton and later to producer Lindsay Marx. In 2010 he married Elizabeth Rainer, and he has two children, Cal and Teddy.
