Stephanie Lynne Mason

Stephanie Lynne Mason is a theater actress based in New York City, known for her work on Broadway and in Off-Broadway productions.

Mason was raised in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Columbus Academy in 2005. Her paternal great-grandfather was a Sicilian fisherman. Following graduation, she relocated directly to New York City and secured a talent agent. Her father died from leukemia in 2008. At 19, she made her first professional appearance on stage, cast as Maria in West Side Story at Theater Under the Stars in Houston.

Her Broadway debut came in 2015 when she joined the revival of Fiddler on the Roof as a swing. The production opened on November 12, 2015, ran for 431 performances, and closed on December 31, 2016. That same year, she appeared in Axis Theater Company's Evening 1910, which ran from May 8 to May 28, 2016. In September 2016, Mason played Dyanne in the national tour of Million Dollar Quartet, a jukebox musical centered on early rock and roll.

Mason developed a sustained relationship with the Folksbiene theater company beginning in 2017. She performed in their Off-Broadway production of Amerike the Golden Land, which opened July 4, 2017, ran for six weeks including a two-week extension, and closed August 20, 2017. Later that year, in December 2017, she appeared in Folksbiene's run of The Sorceress, part of the company's restoration process led by artistic director Zalmen Mlotek, for which she learned Yiddish. In the summer of 2018, Mason originated the role of Hodel in the Folksbiene premiere of Fidler Afn Dakh, a production that went on to win the Drama Desk Award for Best Revival of a Musical in June 2019.

In April 2018, Mason appeared in Rise Too: Our Story, a benefit concert for arthritis held at the Davenport Theatre. In the fall of 2023, she portrayed Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at the John Engeman Theater.
