Shannon Conley

Shannon Conley is an American voice actress, musician, and Broadway performer based in New York City. She has worked professionally under several pseudonyms, including Sonny Dey, Holly Bobbit, Ursula Conlon, Vibe Jones, Candi Washington, and Deborah Zane.

Conley's voice acting career has included English dubbing work for Japanese anime through production companies Central Park Media and NYAV Post. Her anime dubbing credits span a range of titles and roles, among them Urd in Ah! My Goddess, Taeko Yasuda in Area 88: Act II - Requirements of Wolves, Paula in Garaga, additional voices in Grave of the Fireflies, Patricia Landsdale and Lady L in Legend of the Dragon Kings, Saki Sawanoguchi in Magic User's Club! OVA, Pokémon Hunter J in Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl, Annelotte and Dark Annelotte in Queen's Blade Rebellion, and Melody Honey in Arcade Gamer Fubuki. She also dubbed the role of Gold Claw in the live-action film Cutie Honey.

Beyond anime, Conley has lent her voice to a number of animated productions. Her non-anime credits include the role of Abigail Brand in Astonishing X-Men: The Motion Comic, Orie in Kappa Mikey, Connie in Ellen's Acres, Newbie in Newbie and the Disasternauts, Lara and Natives in Kikoriki: Legend of the Golden Dragon, Powlo the Cat in Ratatoing, The Little Seal Girl in As Told By Ginger, and The Cheetah and Queen Nefercreppy in Thumb Wrestling Federation. Several of these roles were performed under the Vibe Jones pseudonym.

In addition to her voice work, Conley served as the lead vocalist for Lez Zeppelin, an all-female tribute band. Her stage career brought her to Broadway, where she appeared in productions between 2014 and 2016. She made her Broadway debut with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, in which she served as the understudy for the role of Yitzhak.
