Shakiem Evans is an actor, dancer, and singer whose work spans stage, television, and film. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Evans made his mark in film with the dance-centered drama Center Stage (2000), in which he portrayed Erik O. Jones. His television credits include appearances on Sabrina the Teenage Witch (2000), That's Life (2000), and Providence (2002). Earlier in his career, he appeared as Tito Jackson in the television film The Jacksons: An American Dream (1992).
His stage career includes productions of Fame on 42nd Street! (2004) and Mamma Mia! (2005), the latter of which is among his Broadway credits. Evans also appeared in High School Musical, both on Broadway and on a U.S. national tour in 2007, in which he played Chad Danforth. His Broadway work began in 2001.
