Seth Sikes

Seth Sikes is an American cabaret singer and Broadway professional born on January 30, 1984, in Paris, Texas. His parents, Bill and Candi Sikes, were both educators. During his youth, Sikes pursued acting and played trumpet alongside his ambitions toward a career in theater.

Following his graduation from North Lamar High School, Sikes relocated to New York City and enrolled at Circle in the Square Theater School. His Broadway career encompasses both performing and directorial roles. He appeared on Broadway in 2010 in Brigadoon, and later served as Assistant Director on The Nance, written by Douglas Carter Beane and starring Nathan Lane at the Lyceum Theatre. He also held the position of Associate Director on The Band's Visit, with music and lyrics by David Yazbek and a book by Itamar Moses, which ran at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

In June 2015, Sikes made his cabaret debut at 54 Below in New York City. Columnist Rex Reed noted that he performed before a sold-out house on that occasion. His cabaret work centers on show tunes, with a particular focus on material associated with Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Bernadette Peters, and Barbra Streisand. Sikes continues to be based in New York City.
