Samantha Massell is an American actress and singer born on January 15, 1990, based in New York. She is best known for portraying Hodel in the 2015 Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof.
Massell attended Hunter College High School, where she interned for Lin-Manuel Miranda, before going on to study musical theater and English at the University of Michigan. She graduated from Michigan as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Her Broadway career spans from 2002 to 2015. Massell made her Broadway debut at age 12 in La Bohème, and later appeared in the 2015 revival of Fiddler on the Roof, where she took on the role of Hodel. Beyond Broadway, she originated the role of Florika in Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and recorded with the production's cast album. In 2015, she also played Rapunzel in a revival of Into the Woods at The Muny.
In 2022, Massell appeared in a recurring role as Stacey Moore in the final season of the television series Dynasty on The CW.
