Sam Kasten (born 1865 or April 21, 1869; died March 4, 1953) was a comic actor whose career centered on the Yiddish theater. He performed on Broadway in 1942, appearing in the musical Oy Is Dus a Leben!
Kasten built a reputation in New York's Yiddish theatrical world over several decades. A 1925 article in the New York Times highlighted his work alongside Moony Weisenfreund at the People's Theater as among the most notable performances of that year's Yiddish theater season, placing the two actors second only to Ludwig Satz in distinction.
Kasten died in New York on March 4, 1953.
