Sally Nesbitt is an English actress born on 1 October 1938 in Darjeeling, British India. She is the daughter of John Hunt, Baron Hunt, the British Army officer who led the successful 1953 British expedition to Mount Everest. Nesbitt studied at Nottingham University.
Her career has encompassed stage, film, and television work. She spent a significant period working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and appeared in various film and television productions throughout her career.
In 1981, Nesbitt brought her stage experience to Broadway, appearing in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.
