Rod Colbin, born Irving Herbert Lichtenstein on December 23, 1923, in New Haven, Connecticut, was an American character actor whose professional career extended across four decades. He died on February 4, 2007, in Denver, Colorado, following a series of strokes.

Colbin's Broadway career ran from 1957 to 1964 and included appearances in The Taming of the Shrew, The Physicists, and The Legend of Lizzie. Beyond his stage work, he maintained a career as a character actor across multiple performance mediums throughout his life.

In addition to acting, Colbin worked as a fencing instructor and served as a personal masseur to Katharine Hepburn. He is also said to have instructed both James Dean and Marlon Brando.

On September 16, 1965, Colbin married Annemarie Polonyi; the marriage ended in divorce in 1978. He had three daughters, one of whom died in a fire at the age of four. His surviving daughters include Kaila Colbin.
