Robert Heath Foxworth, born November 1, 1941, in Houston, Texas, is an American actor whose career spans film, television, and stage. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Carnegie Mellon University and built his early professional reputation as a stage performer, notably at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.

Foxworth's Broadway career extended from 1969 to 2007, during which he appeared in a wide range of productions. His stage credits include starring roles in Honour, Candida, and Proof, as well as appearances in Twelve Angry Men, Judgment at Nuremberg, and Ivanov. His work on Broadway earned him a Theatre World Award in 1972.

On television, Foxworth became widely recognized for his long-running role as Chase Gioberti, Jane Wyman's nephew, on the primetime drama Falcon Crest, a part he held from 1981 to 1987. He later joined the cast of Six Feet Under, playing Bernard Chenowith from 2001 to 2003. Earlier in his career he appeared in the legal drama series The Storefront Lawyers from 1970 to 1971, and he starred in Gene Roddenberry's 1974 television film The Questor Tapes. His television work also includes an episode of the NBC anthology series Love Story in 1973, a 1977 appearance in Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected, a guest-starring role in the seventh season of The West Wing, and a guest spot on Law & Order. In a 1989 episode of Columbo titled Grand Deceptions, he portrayed an Army colonel who is the murderer. Additional guest appearances span Hawaii Five-O, Password Plus, Murder She Wrote, seaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Outer Limits, Star Trek: Enterprise, Stargate SG-1, and Babylon 5. Foxworth was also offered the role of J.R. Ewing on Dallas but declined, and the part ultimately went to Larry Hagman.

His voice work includes the role of the corrupt Professor Hamilton on the animated series Justice League Unlimited and the Autobot Ratchet in the Transformers film franchise and its sequels.

Foxworth was married to Marilyn McCormick from 1964 to 1974, and the two had a son, Bo, and a daughter, Kristyn. He and actress Elizabeth Montgomery lived together for twenty years before marrying in 1993; Montgomery died in 1995. Since August 2, 1998, Foxworth has been married to Stacey Thomas.
