Robert Ray Fortier (November 5, 1926 – January 1, 2005) was an American actor whose career spanned film, television, and theatre. Born in West Hollywood, California, he studied as a gymnast at the University of California, Los Angeles, and was a member of the New York City Ballet before pursuing a performing career. He also served in the armed forces during World War II.

Fortier's screen work began in 1950 with an uncredited appearance in Let's Dance. The following year he had roles in Texas Carnival and Show Boat. His Broadway career ran from 1952 to 1953 and included two musicals: Pal Joey, in which he played the role of Victor, and Me and Juliet, where he appeared as Don Juan.

On television, Fortier became recognized for his role as Scotty in the NBC adventure series The Troubleshooters, which ran from 1959 to 1960 alongside Keenan Wynn and Bob Mathias. He subsequently starred as Gary Donovan in the CBS soap opera Full Circle, appearing with Dyan Cannon and Jean Byron. He also took on the recurring role of Captain Jampel in the second and third seasons of the ABC drama Combat! and guest-starred in numerous series, among them Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Fugitive, Star Trek: The Original Series, Colt .45, The Millionaire, Outlaws, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, and The Law and Mr. Jones.

Among his film appearances were McCabe & Mrs. Miller, 3 Women, A Wedding, Heaven Can Wait, and Popeye, in which he played the town drunk Bill Barnacle. Fortier retired from acting in 1987, with his final screen appearance coming in the film O.C. and Stiggs. He died on January 1, 2005, in Orange, California, at the age of 78.
