Robert Dhéry, born Robert Léon Henri Fourrey on 27 April 1921 in La Plaine St. Denis, France, was a comedian, actor, director, screenwriter, and book writer who worked across stage and screen until his death on 3 December 2004.
Dhéry's Broadway career ran from 1958 to 1960, centered on the revue La Plume de Ma Tante, in which he starred and for which he also served as book writer. He later appeared on Broadway in La Grosse Valise. His wife, actress Colette Brosset, appeared alongside him in La Plume de Ma Tante, as did a cast that included Pamela Austin, Roger Caccia, Yvonne Constant, Genevieve Coulombel, Michael Kent, Jean Lefevre, Jacques Legras, Michael Modo, Pierre Olaf, Nicole Parent, Ross Parker, and Henri Pennec. In 1959, Dhéry and the entire cast of La Plume de Ma Tante received a Special Tony Award in recognition of their contribution to the theatre.
His film work in France spanned several decades, beginning with Night Shift in 1944. Subsequent screen credits included Last Chance Castle, One Night at the Tabarin, and Are You Sure?, all from 1947, followed by Branquignol and I Like Only You in 1949. He continued appearing in French productions through the early 1950s, with credits including The Patron, Bernard and the Lion, Love Is Not a Sin, La demoiselle et son revenant, and The Pirates of the Bois de Boulogne in 1954.
