Robert Christopher Riley

Robert Christopher Riley is an American actor of Trinidadian and Bajan descent, born on October 11, 1980, in Brooklyn, New York. His mother is from Trinidad and his father is from Barbados. Riley attended Brooklyn Technical High School, where he participated in the drama club and played safety for the school's football team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 2003, and went on to receive a Master's degree in Theater from Ohio University in 2006. During his college years, he played football and wrote and directed his first theatrical script.

Riley's stage career brought him to Broadway between 2008 and 2010, where he appeared in two productions. He took on the role of Dave Robinson in Lombardi and portrayed Brick in the 2009 production of Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, succeeding Terrence Howard in that role. In 2014, he appeared in the Old Globe Theatre's production of The Royale, written by television writer and producer Marco Ramirez, playing the character Jay "The Sport" Jackson.

On television, Riley is recognized for his recurring role as Terrence Wall in the VH1 drama series Hit the Floor, a part he held from 2013 to 2016. In 2010, he appeared as a security guard named Derek in an episode of Nickelodeon's Victorious. He also played Jared in the 2016 TV One film Bad Dad Rehab. In March 2017, Riley was cast as chauffeur Michael Culhane in The CW's reboot of Dynasty, which premiered that same year.
