Rob Campbell

Rob Campbell is an actor working across stage, television, and film. He holds degrees from Wesleyan University and the Yale School of Drama, and his early stage work included multiple productions at the Yale Repertory Theatre, among them a staging of The Winter's Tale in which he appeared alongside Lupita Nyong'o.

Campbell's Broadway career spans from 1995 to 2014 and encompasses three productions. He played Manus in Translations, a production that featured Brian Dennehy. In Ivanov, he took on the role of Lvov opposite Kevin Kline. His third Broadway credit, All the Way, cast him as Governor George Wallace in a production starring Bryan Cranston. Beyond Broadway, Campbell has worked at a wide range of prominent American regional theaters, including the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the Goodman Theatre, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, as well as New York venues such as the Public Theater, Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, Classic Stage Company, and Manhattan Theatre Club. He has also performed in London.

His screen debut came in Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven (1992), in which he played Davey Bunting. Subsequent film roles include Ethan Frome (1993), The Crucible (1996) as Reverend Hale, Boys Don't Cry (1999) as Brian, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) as Krzysztof, among others. His television work includes appearances on Sex and the City, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Brotherhood, where he played Carl Hobbs across the series run.

Campbell is married to actress Ana Reeder, and the two have one son together.
