Rachel Anne Moore

Rachel Anne Moore is an American theatre actress and opera singer, born on March 3, 1985, in Seattle, Washington. She is recognized for her portrayals of Christine Daaé in both the Hamburg production and the North American premiere tour of Love Never Dies.

Moore pursued formal training in opera at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington. She subsequently received the 2008/2009 Spivey Humanities Fellowship, which supported her master's degree studies in Opera Performance at the University of Tennessee. During her time there, she performed in several productions, taking on roles including Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, and Abigail Williams in The Crucible.

Three years after completing her graduate studies, Moore traveled to Hamburg, Germany, where she joined the cast of The Phantom of the Opera in the role of Carlotta Giudicelli. She then transitioned to the Hamburg production of Love Never Dies, premiering the role of Christine Daaé in that city. In 2017, she returned to the United States to join the first national tour of Love Never Dies, serving as the Christine Daaé alternate to Meghan Picerno.

Moore made her Broadway debut in The Phantom of the Opera, where she performed as the Spanish Lady and served as an understudy for the role of Carlotta Giudicelli. Her Broadway credits include both The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies.

Following the Broadway shutdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Moore and her husband established a voice studio called Moore Than Music, through which they offer virtual private voice lessons.
