Born December 21, 1925, in Des Moines, Iowa, Phyllis Love graduated from Pittsburgh's Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1948, then relocated to New York to study at the Actors Studio. She was married first to playwright James Vincent McGee, later to Alan Paul Gooding. Her film credits include "Friendly Persuasion," "So Young So Bad," and "The Young Doctors." On television she appeared in "The Twilight Zone," "Gunsmoke," "Bonanza," "Perry Mason," "Laramie," "Ironside," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," and "Have Gun -- Will Travel." Phyllis Love also taught English and drama at Morningside High School in Inglewood, California.
