Penelope Marjorie Windust (July 13, 1945 – February 2, 2022) was an American actress born in New York, New York, whose career spanned stage, television, and film. She worked across all three mediums over several decades, earning recognition in each.

Windust launched her professional career on Broadway, where she was active from 1967 to 1972. Her stage credits included a 1967 production of Spofford, which featured Melvyn Douglas, and a 1972 production of Elizabeth I. Her Broadway work earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1973.

On television, Windust became widely recognized for her portrayal of Kathleen Maxwell in the 1983 miniseries V. She accumulated an extensive list of guest appearances across multiple decades, with credits including Hawaii Five-O, The Six Million Dollar Man, Falcon Crest, Dallas, Matlock, ER, Third Watch, Criminal Minds, and Boston Legal. She also appeared in numerous television movies throughout her career.

Her film work included roles in Ghost Town and Bird, both released in 1988. Her final film appearance came in the 2008 comedy You Don't Mess with the Zohan.

Windust died on February 2, 2022, at the age of 76.
