Paul Amiot (29 March 1886 – 26 January 1979) was a French actor whose work encompassed both film and stage, including a Broadway appearance in 1924. Born in the late nineteenth century, he built a career that extended across roughly six decades, accumulating credits in nearly 100 films between 1910 and 1973.

Amiot's screen work began as early as 1908 and continued through 1930 in one phase of his career, with his filmography ultimately stretching into the 1970s. He became recognized for portraying figures of institutional authority, taking on recurring roles as police inspectors, detectives, lawyers, and physicians throughout his time in French cinema. A 1920 appearance in Robert Péguy's Être aimé pour soi-même was among his earlier notable screen engagements.

On the stage, Amiot crossed into American theater when he appeared on Broadway in 1924 in L'Aiglon. Following his death on 26 January 1979, he donated his body to scientific research.
