Born February 12, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Patrick Dominic Quinn studied theater at Temple University. In 1987, he helped organize the non-profit Equity Fights AIDS, which later merged with Broadway Cares. He was elected president of the Actors' Equity Association in 2000. His life partner was Martin Casella. TV credits include "Bosom Buddies," "Edens Lost," "Anastasia," "Remember WENN," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law & Order," and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." Broadway theater marquees were dimmed in his honor on September 26, 2006.
