She made her New York City Opera debut in 1951 and continued appearing there as a principal singer through 1966. She married singer and vocal coach Morris Gesell, and later married John Francis Byrne. TV credits include "The Ed Sullivan Show," "Some Jerk with a Camera," "The Consul," "Golden Child," "Camera Three," "Ten Blocks on the Camino Real," and "Carousel."
