Pascale Armand

Pascale Armand is an American actress born in Brooklyn, New York whose career spans stage, film, and television. She pursued her training at Howard University and Georgetown University before completing the acting program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her professional career began in the early 2000s with appearances in regional stage productions.

Armand's early screen work included roles in the films Queenie in Love (2001), Kings County (2003), and Kinsey (2004), as well as guest appearances on the television series Strangers with Candy, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. She also contributed voice-over work to the video games Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Her off-Broadway credits include Four, Belleville, Relevance, Natural Shocks, Merry Wives, and Bernarda's Daughters. In 2011, Armand starred in Danai Gurira's play The Convert, a performance that earned her an Ovation Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play and a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination. She made her Broadway debut between 2013 and 2016 in a revival of The Trip to Bountiful, which starred Cicely Tyson.

Armand subsequently appeared in Gurira's 2015 off-Broadway production of Eclipsed, for which she received an Obie Award for Distinguished Performance by an Ensemble and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play. She reprised her role when Eclipsed transferred to Broadway, earning a 2016 Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play.

Following her Broadway work, Armand expanded her television presence with guest-starring roles on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Blacklist, American Odyssey, Madam Secretary, Prodigal Son, Chicago Med, East New York, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. In 2022, she took on a leading role in the second season of Terror Lake Drive, a horror anthology series on Allblk.
