Pam Potillo is an American actress born in 1974 in Trenton, New Jersey. She is recognized for her Broadway work as well as her recurring television role on The Cosby Show, where she played Vanessa Huxtable's friend Janet Meiser from 1985 to 1990.

Potillo began her career as a host on Wonderama, a weekend morning children's news magazine that aired on WNEW-TV. Her work on the program spanned from 1980 to 1987. She also appeared alongside Ben Affleck and Madeline Kahn in an episode of the ABC Afterschool Special.

In 1984, Potillo made her Broadway debut in Shirley Lauro's Open Admissions, taking on the role of Georgia Jones. The production marked her entry into professional theater.

Potillo holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.A. from Pepperdine University.
