Nick LaTour, born Edgar Daniel Nixon Jr. on August 1, 1928, was an American actor whose work spanned television, film, and stage. He was the son of Edgar Daniel Nixon, a prominent African American civil rights leader, and his wife, Alease Curry Nixon.
LaTour pursued a career in performance under his stage name, working across multiple entertainment mediums throughout his professional life. His Broadway career included an appearance in 1974 in God's Favorite.
He died on February 28, 2011, at the age of 82, following a battle with cancer.
