Nathalie Nicole Paulding is an American actress born on May 17, 1985, who has worked across theatre, film, and television. She grew up in Hollywood, Florida, and at age nine was enrolled at Little Flower Montessori School in Fort Lauderdale.

Paulding began accumulating performance credits in the early 1990s. Her Broadway career, which spanned 1987 to 1997 according to verified records, included appearances in Summer and Smoke, Les Misérables, and The Diary of Anne Frank. In the 1994 Broadway production of Les Misérables at the Imperial Theatre, she played the roles of Young Éponine and Young Cosette. Two years later, she appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of Summer and Smoke, portraying young Alma Winemiller at the Criterion Center Stage Right in New York City. In 1997 and 1998, Paulding took on the role of Anne Frank in the Broadway revival of The Diary of Anne Frank at the Music Box Theatre, replacing Natalie Portman in the production.

Beyond Broadway, Paulding also worked in off-Broadway and regional theatre. In 1996, she played Helen Keller in a revival production of The Miracle Worker at the George Street Playhouse. The following year, she appeared as Matryosha in The Devils, an off-Broadway production at the New York Theatre Workshop. In 1999, she portrayed Monica in Lake Hollywood, produced by the Signature Theatre Company at the Peter Norton Space. In 2005, she played Frankie Addams in The Member of the Wedding at Ford's Theatre. In May 2006, Paulding participated in the 24th annual Young Playwrights Festival, a three-week engagement of new plays by writers age 18 or younger, hosted by Young Playwrights Inc. — an organization founded by Stephen Sondheim — at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space.

On television, Paulding held a recurring role as Bianca Montgomery on All My Children from 1997 to 1998. She appeared in two episodes of Third Watch in 1999, playing a character named Sunny in the episodes "Hell is What You Make of It" and "Sunny, Like Sunshine." Later television work included a guest appearance as Patty Swanson in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Mercy" in 2003, and a role as Quinn Ellis in the Cold Case episode "Family" in 2005.

Paulding's film credits include Bully (2001), in which she played Claudia; Bringing Rain (2003), in which she portrayed Mu; and The Life Before Her Eyes (2008), in which she appeared as Amanda.
