Born May 11, 1963, in London, England, Natasha Jane Richardson was the daughter of Tony Richardson and Vanessa Redgrave. After training at the Central School of Speech and Drama, she married Robert Fox, and later married actor Liam Neeson. She and Neeson had two sons, Micheal Richard Antonio Neeson and Daniel Jack Neeson.
Her film credits include "The Handmaid's Tale," "The Parent Trap," "Wild Child," "Maid in Manhattan," "Nell," "Fat Man and Little Boy," "Evening," "Asylum," "The White Countess," and "The Comfort of Strangers." On television, she appeared in "Saturday Night Live," "Tales from the Crypt," "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," "Great Performances," and "Working in the Theatre."
An outdoor production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was her first job. On March 19, 2009, Broadway theater marquees were dimmed in her honor.
