About
Natalie May Paris is a British stage actress, singer, and dancer born on 6 July 1994. She grew up on Grange Crescent in Chigwell and received her early training at Finch Stage School beginning at age five. In 2010, she received a Dance and Drama Award for the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Her formal training also included a West End Masterclass with Michael Xavier and Lindsey Wise and a foundation course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
Paris began performing in musical theatre as a child, appearing in West End productions including Les Misérables at age ten and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. At eleven, she was cast as Louise in the 2005 production of Sunday in the Park with George at the Menier Chocolate Factory, which starred Anna-Jane Casey and Daniel Evans. The production transferred to the Wyndham's Theatre in 2006, with Jenna Russell taking over the role of Dot/Marie, and Paris was included on the original cast recording. In 2014, she performed as one of the Ballet Girls in Billy Elliott at Victoria Palace.
Paris has been closely associated with the musical SIX since its earliest development, participating in the workshop stage before the show's Edinburgh Fringe run in 2018 alongside Aimie Atkinson. She originated the role of Jane Seymour in the production. In 2019, Paris and her five fellow cast members received a shared nomination for the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical, and the full cast performed the song "Ex Wives" during the ceremony. The production also received Olivier nominations for Best New Musical, Outstanding Achievement in Music for writers Marlow and Moss, Best Theatre Choreographer for Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, and Best Costume Design for Gabriella Slade. Paris made her Broadway debut with SIX in 2021 and departed the show that same year, having debuted in the production in 2017 and remaining its longest-running cast member, with no absence from the show exceeding ten months during that period. In 2022, the original cast reunited to reprise their roles in three concerts at Hampton Court Palace.
Following her departure from SIX, Paris continued to work in musical theatre across multiple projects. On 29 January 2022, she appeared in The Regulars, a new musical presented as a one-night concert at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester as part of the annual LGBTQIA+ Arts Festival. Later that year, she played the role of Construction Worker in the UK concert version of Emojiland at the Garrick Theatre, sharing the stage with Louise Dearman, Renee Lamb, Tim Mahendran, and Dean John Wilson. Also in 2022, she premiered the song "How Far We've Come," written by Marlow and Moss, at the Regenerate: Lost Songs from the Musicals concert. In 2023, Paris joined the Six Aragon Tour in the United States as Jane Seymour, touring the West Coast in what marked her US debut. In July 2023, it was announced that she would join the UK and Ireland tour of Pretty Woman in the role of Kit De Luca. The production opened in Birmingham on 17 October 2023, with Amber Davies as Vivian, Oliver Savile as Edward, and Ore Oduba as Happy Man/Mr Thompson.
Outside of theatre, Paris is a member of the girl group Sorella, formerly known as The Stereoettes, which comprises four members and has performed at venues in both the UK and the US. She is also a member of SVN, a group formed with SIX cast members Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O'Connell, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, and Grace Mouat. The concept for SVN originated with McIntosh and Atkinson, who began developing the idea with the rest of the group in 2020. SVN released their debut original single "Stars" in 2021, followed by an independently released second single, "Woman," on 28 April 2022. On television, Paris appeared as a featured vocalist on the 2022, 2024, and 2025 editions of Strictly Come Dancing.
