About

Kilgore's Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen, Motown the Musical, Chicago, The Wiz, and The Book of Mormon. His theater work has also encompassed Hair, and he starred in the 2025 revival tour of The Wiz as the Cowardly Lion, a run that ended three weeks after opening when he was fired due to conflicts with the creative team. His understudy assumed the role without any official announcement from the production.
As a recording artist, Kilgore released his debut album, A Man Born Black, on September 6, 2019. The record debuted at number two on the iTunes R&B charts and appeared on five separate Billboard charts.
