Michel Robin was a French actor born on November 13, 1930, in Reims, France, who died on November 18, 2020. Over the course of his career, he worked across film, stage, and television, accumulating credits in approximately 120 films between 1966 and 2018.

Robin became a sociétaire of the Comédie-Française in 1996, one of the most prestigious distinctions available to a French stage actor. His theatrical work extended beyond France to include Broadway, where he appeared in 1968 in two productions: George Dandin and the musical The Three Musketeers.

Among the honors Robin received during his career were the Molière Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Grand Jury Prize at the Locarno Festival, which he won in 1979.
