Melinda Mullins is an American actress from Clanton, Alabama, whose work spans film, television, and the Broadway stage. Her Broadway career ran from 1987 to 1989 and encompassed three productions: Sherlock's Last Case, in which she played the dual roles of Liza and Damion; Serious Money, where she portrayed Scilla; and Mastergate, in which she appeared as Merry Chase.

Beyond Broadway, Mullins built an extensive record in off-Broadway and regional theatre, taking on classical roles including Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Tamora in Titus Andronicus, Isabella in Measure for Measure, Titania and Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Olivia in Twelfth Night. Additional stage credits include Elizabeth in Escape from Happiness, C. McCullers in Adjoining Trances, Mona in The Play's the Thing, Honest Bob in Wild Oats, and a role in the Chorus of Amerika. Her stage work was recognized as early as 1986, when she received the B.H. Barry Stagefighting Prize.

On television, Mullins appeared in series including M*A*S*H and Law & Order. She became particularly associated with the role of Hilary Booth, a former Broadway leading lady, in Rupert Holmes' series Remember WENN. Her performance in that series earned her a 1999 New York Festival Award for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series, as well as a 1999 Chicago International Television Festival Outstanding Achievement in Acting award. She also received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination in 1996.

In addition to acting, Mullins writes screenplays and short stories. She was married to actor and author Joshua Bryant, known for his role as Jack Scully on M*A*S*H, from 2005 until his death on June 25, 2024. The couple had relocated to France in 2018.
