Mark Kalin

Mark Kalin is an American magician and Broadway performer who, alongside his wife and partner Jinger Leigh, has built a career centered on large-scale stage illusion and network television appearances. Kalin made his Broadway debut in 2016 as part of The Illusionists - Turn of the Century.

Kalin and Jinger have worked together both on stage and as business partners throughout their careers. In 1997, the pair founded Supreme Entertainment Productions and created Before Your Very Eyes, a themed revue that ran at Trump's Marina in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Two years later, they collaborated with comedy magician Jeff Hobson to mount Carnival of Wonders, a magic-illusion production that earned awards recognition and drew comparisons from Magic Magazine to the classic act Le Roy, Talma & Bosco.

In 2001, Kalin and Jinger acquired full ownership of Supreme Entertainment and established a new company, Majikal Productions. Their collaborators under this venture included Joanie Spina, a magician and former choreographer for David Copperfield, and leading illusion designer Jim Steinmeyer. The company's inaugural production was Illusionarium, staged at the Reno Hilton in Reno, Nevada. Their projects have also included Magic Underground, a dedicated magic venue in Reno.

Television has been another significant component of Kalin's career. He and Jinger appeared in the Gary Ouellet-produced World's Greatest Magic II in 1995 and NBC's Hidden Secrets of Magic in 1996. On the 1998 network special The World's Most Dangerous Magic, the duo performed the "Table of Terror," a "Table of Death" style escape act.

In 1998, the Academy of Magical Arts voted Kalin and Jinger Magicians of the Year for 1997, an honor previously bestowed on performers including David Copperfield, Doug Henning, David Blaine, Lance Burton, Criss Angel, and Penn and Teller.
